TerraX responds to coverage on becoming the next major player on the gold scene

Stuart Rogers, President and Director of TerraX Minerals Inc. (TSXV: TXR) in an interview with InvestorIntel CEO Tracy Weslosky discuss expanding their Yellowknife district. In the last year, TerraX’s Yellowknife-adjacent land position has tripled. “[With] over 1000 samples [and] 400 in the lab,” TerraX is looking to further increase the already large scale district.

Tracy Weslosky: Stuart, I was just explaining to our team how much I enjoyed the Lara Smith piece on TerraX: “Analyst says, TerraX may be the next major player to emerge onto the gold scene.” Is it because of where you’re located? What do you think is analyst, Lara Smith’s angle on why she thinks you’re going to become one of the next big players?

Stuart Rogers: Well, I think that really speaks to the fact that we are a district now, a definite district. We’ve tripled the size of our land position within the last year from 129 square kilometers to 420 square kilometers. It’s highly prospective land. We have almost prospective land on either side of a major break in a gold camp, a known gold camp, such as Yellowknife where we already have identified high-grade resources on the property.

Tracy Weslosky: In this particular district is it not true they’ve already taken out 14 million ounces of gold?

Stuart Rogers: Exactly right. We have all the undeveloped ground north and south of those past producing mines and to the east on the other side of the break. The best place to find gold is right beside past producing mines.

Tracy Weslosky: This district scale – this very large scale project – that we have here is just outside of Yellowknife, correct?

Stuart Rogers: Yes, adjacent to Yellowknife.

Tracy Weslosky: In particular, you just announced that you commenced a new drilling program. Can you give us an update on this high-grade, large scale gold project that you are leading?

Stuart Rogers: What we’re doing is we’re not going to be drilling yet. This is the first summer we’ve had opportunity to do initial field work on the property so the other 290 square kilometers that we’ve acquired. We started in June with field work, mapping and sampling, identified showings on the new areas that we have. We’ve done airborne surveys, a LIDAR survey, which helps the structural analysis of the project. We’re flying airborne geophysics and we’re doing magnetic surveys on the ground. We’re getting prepared for growing and identifying these targets. It’s going to be a district wide drill program when we begin… to access the complete interview, click here

TerraX Shines in Yellowknife Gold Project

Stuart Rogers, President and Director of TerraX Minerals Inc. (TSXV: TXR) in an interview with Denis Clement of InvestorIntel discuss plans for a golden future in Yellowknife, Canada. Stuart highlights their access to the adjacent city of Yellowknife, where infrastructure reduces operating costs and adding the coveted ability to work through winter.

Denis Clement: We’re here today to meet with Mr. Stuart Rogers. I saw yesterday you had a press release with your company, adding new members to the team. Tell us a bit about that.

Stuart Rogers: Yes, that’s what we did. We’re advancing the project in Yellowknife. We’ve added two first-class guys to the project that have had experience developing a world-class asset with another company they were involved in, Cayden Resources, which was acquired by Agnico Eagle in 2014. They were attracted to this project as investors. That’s how we got to know them. We found that they have a lot of insight and contacts and people that can help us advance this project. We’re excited to have them join the board and work with us. They’re very enthusiastic.

Denis Clement: That’s great. Can you tell us a bit about your primary project, the Yellowknife City Gold Project?

Stuart Rogers: Yes. The Yellowknife City Gold Project is something that we’ve put together over the last four years. It started off to be a small block of claims and what we’ve done is taken this area that was undeveloped on strike with two high-grade gold mines, two of the highest grade gold mines that produced in Canada, the Con and Giant. We acquired and assembled a package, basically a world-class gold district. We now have 418 square kilometers. We have all the prospective ground immediately north and south of the city and the two high-grade gold mines that are in the area.

Denis Clement: And they’re in production, the Con and the Giant?

Stuart Rogers: Well, they were past producers. They operated for over 60 years. They produced over 14 million ounces of gold, an average grade of 16 grams a ton.

Denis Clement: That is good grade.

Stuart Rogers: That’s high-grade gold…to access the full interview, click here

TerraX CEO on assembling a major gold district in “one of the major high-grade historic camps”

Stuart W. Rogers, President and Director of TerraX Minerals Inc. (TSXV: TXR), in an interview with InvestorIntel CEO Tracy Weslosky discuss the competitive advantage of assembling a major gold district in on “one of the major high-grade historic camps in Canada.”  Discussing the recent results from a 27,000-meter drilling program, Rogers describes what TerraX is doing in the new year and provides additional insight into what a gold investor should look for in an exploration story on the market.

Tracy Weslosky: Stuart you are one of the top six high-grade gold deposits in the resource sector. Can you give us a bit of an overview for those out there in InvestorIntel land that may not have heard of you before?

Stuart Rogers: At TerraX we’ve assembled a major gold district. We’re right adjacent to the city of Yellowknife, one of the major high-grade historic gold camps in Canada. I guess the key to this is high-grade and the other key is that we’re right beside a city so we have excellent infrastructure.

Tracy Weslosky: And, of course, TerraX Minerals just announced the recent results from a 27,000-meter drilling program. Can you give us the highlights and tell us what you found?

Stuart Rogers: We’ve actually released the first four holes in that drill program so we’ve taken a brief pause and we will be back drilling again in January. We still have lots of results to come. The first four holes are all successful. We extended the zone at depth. We extended along strike and we had high-grade gold intercepts such as 5 meters of 29 grams a ton in a hanging wall, another 2 meters at 24 grams a ton in the main zone. Excellent results for the first four and we’ve got lots more results coming.

Tracy Weslosky: Of course, the drilling results that you just announced are obviously high-grade gold. Can you tell us a little bit more about what this means?

Stuart Rogers: What this means with these drill results is that they are actually extended the gold that we had discovered further down dip, like further deeper into the deposit. We also extended along strike. What we did is we also were able to show continuity in the mineralization. That’s what’s really important. Also in these drill holes we had the main zones that we hit, but we also had pervasive gold mineralization throughout the hole so lower gold mineralization, which has meant that we have to assay the complete hole because we have gold all the way through it though obviously some of it is more anomalous than high-grade, but we do have the main zones that make this a pretty significant find we think.

Tracy Weslosky: Okay. I’m going to ask you because you’re obviously a gold expert, which I am not. What does a “significant find” actually mean to you and what should we as accredited investors be looking for?

Stuart Rogers: Well, what you’re always looking for initially is high-grade zone. You’re looking for, like, wide zones of mineralization. You’re looking for extensive strike area, which we’ve identified on surface and we’re testing now. Then eventually you do all the work and you got an ore body and a mine. We think we’re on the track — on track for that with the results we’re getting today.

Tracy Weslosky: Speaking of being on track, when I read your news release it said you might be drilling again in January. Is it not rather cold to be drilling in January….to access the complete interview, click here
