Uranerz Closes US$10 Million Bought Deal Financing
September 06, 2013 (Source: Marketwire) — Uranerz Energy Corporation (“Uranerz” or the “Company”) (TSX:URZ) (NYSE MKT:URZ) (FRANKFURT:U9E) is pleased to announce the closing of its previously announced bought deal offering (the “Offering”). The Company issued and sold, through a syndicate of underwriters, 8,550,000 units of the Company (the “Units”) at a price of US$1.17 per Unit for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $10,000,000. Each Unit consisted of one share of the Company’s common stock and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable to purchase one additional share of the Company’s common stock for a period of 30 months following the closing of the offering at an exercise price of US$1.60, subject to adjustment and acceleration provisions. The warrants will not be listed on any exchange.
Haywood Securities Inc. acted as lead underwriter in relation to the Offering of the Units. The syndicate of underwriters included Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation, Dundee Securities Ltd., Laurentian Bank Securities Inc. and Global Hunter Securities LLC (collectively, the “Underwriters”). In addition, H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC participated in the Offering as a selling group member.
The Company anticipates that the net proceeds from the Offering will be utilized to fund ongoing construction of the Company’s Nichols Ranch ISR Uranium Project and for general corporate purposes.
