Game changing events in Processing & Metallurgy Propel Rare Element Resources to Industry Forefront
May 14, 2013 — Randy Scott, President, CEO and Director of Rare Element Resources Ltd. (‘RER’, AMEX: REE | TSX: RES) in an interview with Dave Glover for ProEdgeWire (ProEdgeWire.com) talks about one of the richest rare earth element (REE) deposits in North America — the Bear Lodge project in Wyoming. Randy Scott comments: “This year has been very exciting for us, as we’ve accomplished a number of milestones for the Project (marked by a) very significant increase in resources.” Further to the news release published April 2013, RER has a 43-101 compliant resource that is in excess of 13 million tons at 3.22% grade that represents “…an increase of about 65% over what we had a year ago.”
Randy emphasizes RER’s HREE enrichment advantage observing that “probably 80% of the value of the value from out project is in those critical rare earths and not in the lanthanum and cerium.” Adding that RER will be a “major producer of all of what we call the critical rare earths, which we define as neodymium, praseodymium, terbium, europium and yttrium.”
