For anyone interested, Valence just announced a 3.5 year program for graphene research and commercialisation at Adelaide Uni, possibly of note is VXL’s statement that they will actually have graphene available for commercial sales H1 14.
Probably more importantly the announcement spells out the phased development plan to the point of producing 30ktpa of High Purity Graphite. Apparently they are not planning to chase the anode market.
Initial reprocessing of fines should just about be underway now as the first step in this journey.
Anyone care to frame a market for the first graphite wannabe to hit USD1B mkt cap?
