March 21, 2013 (Source: Uranex Limited) — Uranex Limited (ASX: UNX) is pleased to provide details of an exciting new graphite discovery on its 100% Nachu tenement in South East Tanzania. An initial indication of graphite mineralisation was found as part of the regional exploration programme in late 2012 and, recently, Uranex engaged the services of Badger Mining and Consulting from Johannesburg to work with Uranex geologists to assess the potential of the tenement.

The Nachu tenement is west of the coastal city of Lindi and approximately 200km by road from the port city of Mtwara in SE Tanzania.

CEO Rod Chittenden said, “The discovery of extensive graphite mineralisation on our Nachu tenements in Tanzania is great news for Uranex. We plan to immediately follow up this discovery with a more detailed exploration program, including a ground EM survey”.
