Mark T. Brown Resigns as Director of Rare Element Resources

Brown has resigned his position on the Board of Directors. Mr. Brown was previously on the Company’s Board from June, 1999 through February, 2012 and then again from December 11, 2012 through April 18, 2013. Mr. Brown resigned for personal reasons.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Company, I’d like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mark for his contributions to Rare Element Resources over the prior years, as a director, a former CFO, and one of the founding shareholders,” said Donald E. Ranta, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Mark was instrumental in advancing our financial strategy to fund the Company and build a strong foundation in our early years.”

Rare Element Resources Ltd. is a publicly traded mineral resource company focused on exploration and development of rare-earth elements (REEs), with a significant distribution of critical rare earths (CREEs). In addition to the REE exploration and evaluation efforts, the Company controls the Sundance gold project, which is located on the same property in Wyoming.
