Sunshine Terminates Strategic Alternatives Review Process

(the “Corporation” or “Sunshine“) (HKEX: 2012, TSX: SUO) is pleased to announce that it has formally terminated the strategic alternatives review process that was initiated in August of 2013. With the securing of financing to recommence construction of the first 5,000 barrels of oil per day phase of the West Ells project, Sunshine’s immediate priority is to complete construction, commissioning and startup of steam injection at West Ells in a timely and cost effective manner.
