The Critical Minerals Institute to host the Critical Minerals Summit 2022 – “Delivering A Mission Critical Supply Chain” Event in Toronto, Canada

Speakers to Include Neo Performance Materials’ Constantine Karayannopoulos, and MP & Author Charlie Angus

Toronto, August 30, 2022 – The Critical Minerals Institute, which was founded for education, collaboration, and to provide professional opportunities to meet the critical minerals supply chain challenges, is pleased to announce an inaugural Critical Minerals Summit (CMS 2022) on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the historic National Club in Toronto, Canada.

The CMS 2022 Delivering a Mission Critical Supply Chain forum is intended to bring together international industry leaders, governments, and companies to focus on the business, technology, and human capital needs to achieve the aggressive legislative timelines set around sustainability and climate change.

The confirmed opening keynote speaker is Constantine Karayannopoulos of Neo Performance Materials Inc. (TSX: NEO) as well as guest speaker Charlie Angus, MP and author of Cobalt: The Making of a Mining Superpower. A series of 5 panels will be hosted throughout the day by CMI Directors and will include CEOs from across the critical minerals sector as panelists.

CMI Managing Director Tracy Weslosky comments: “With billions being earmarked for EV production we are seeing companies rush to access funds that will benefit from an online platform that offers real B2B solutions. Providing realistic supply chain solutions and investment capital for companies at this time is second only to securing the qualified professionals with practical experience and proven technology necessary to achieve these goals.” Executive Chairman and Co-founder Jack Lifton adds, “Discussions will include the West’s pursuit of national and regional security of supply and self-sufficiency in rare earths, B2B opportunities, and the challenges of China and Russia as suppliers and trade partners.”

The Critical Minerals Summit will be held at the historic National Club in Toronto from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Space is strictly limited. For more information go to CriticalMineralsInstitute.com.
