One of the big themes from “Unlocked”, a film I watch this weekend about a CIA agent attempting to recover from a trauma where she literally used this as an excuse to destroy everything in her way; was that justice comes in time, you just to have faith. But the secret sauce for this film, was that faith does not exist if you do not have patience.

So in this holiday season as I prepare for yet another “It’s a Wonderful Life” formula marathon of seasonal fortitude, should we simply meditate on patience, redefine our focus to support our faith and then the markets will follow? Better yet, let’s start by showing you what we know is working, and review our Top 10 InvestorIntel Buzzworthy stories for the last 30-days and counting….

If you’re the CEO of a junior gold company this month, chances are your faith in the gold market is high but perhaps your patience is waning? For instance, Sage Gold Corp. (TSXV: SGX) is a company that has had 90M invested in it through former management, which has just started producing gold out of Timmins (November 24, 2017 — Sage Gold Delivers Second Shipment to Mill ) but is trading at less than a $15 million dollar market cap. Hmmm, sounds like we need to interview Nigel for the holidays and get what sounds like a real stocking stuffer to our audience to review! On the same token, don’t get me started on the uranium market, because if ever patience has been a virtue, I would argue that Western Uranium Corporation (CSE: WUC | OTCQX: WSRF) and many of the uranium juniors have nearly achieved sainthood status this year.

But is the market tide changing? InvestorIntel’s Eugene Gerden wrote A serious signal for energy companies that is ranked #8 and rising on our charts. Additionally, we were impressed that the guest column written by Birks Bovaird that is already Trending at #4 since Friday’s publishing on how the Stars “may be aligning” for the long-awaited uranium market recovery.

Speaking of patience, let’s bow our heads in respect to Peak Resources (ASX: PEK) as they approach their final hurdles for rare earth development . Dancing in at #10 in our Trending list, Peak is proving that rare earths are indeed on our audiences’ mind again. And if you need more evidence that rare earths are warming up again — WATCH: Lynas CEO Amanda Lacaze on joining the billion dollar market cap club currently Trending at #4.

My business associates in the banking industry tell me if I want to have faith then get into the marijuana market more. In fact, if some of our readers had their way, they would have us doing marijuana 24-7 on InvestorIntel. Many believers in the market, congratulations to BlueOcean NutraSciences Inc. (TSXV: BOC) as they were up 123.81% last week after announcing they have the agribusiness technology to change the delivery of carbon dioxide delivery to plants. And of course, the Scythian Biosciences Corp. (TSXV: SCYB) story Trends #9 with Patent pending cannabinoid compounds bring new treatments to market, as they announce one piece of news after another this quarter — proving that steady real news matters.

Speaking of formulas that do work, there is no question that video content works and I personally have enjoyed Jeff Wareham as an InvestorIntel host. Trending #6 on InvestorIntel is the interview with Fintech Select’s CEO Mohammad Abuleil on their competitive cryptocurrency solutions for point-of-sale  Yes, here’s another sizzling sauce that is working in the market as of this moment in time — and for the sake of the spicy stock sauce theme, we will call it the cryptocurrency cream.

And what else works, how about the Szechuan social media sauce? Have had 2 phone calls this morning where I have recommended that the clients have a LinkedIn and Twitter account for both their company and CEO. If you don’t believe me, then believe our readers as InvestorIntel’s Top 10 Trending Buzzworthy Stories published last month is Trending #5. This is not Pulitzer prized material BUT it is newsworthy as it identifies market interest and associated trends….for instance, there is a real appetite for high voltage sauces that includes cobalt, vanadium, lithium and anything needed for battery materials.

Speaking of this spicy seasoning, the #3 trending story is an interview with Dan Blondal on hitting Nano One’s cathode material technology milestones out of the park. A battery material technology company (note that this is an interview), it would make sense that the #2 most read column is The 800lb Gorilla on the Cobalt market back  that features eCobalt Solutions Inc. (TSX: ECS | OTCQB: ECSIF) and CBLT Inc. (TSXV: CBLT).

Finally, as I watch commercial after holiday commercial on the latest vacuum with a ‘powerful lithium battery’ is the Lithium Marketplace Review November 2017 written by Analyst Lara Smith.

So while the initial recipe for success includes patience and faith as the strongest critical elements for spicy stocks, perhaps at the end of the day —- performance manifests itself through appetite and timing.
