Elcora outlines its strategy to become a world graphene leader

FlintJune 15, 2016 — Ian Flint, Chief operating Officer of Elcora Advanced Materials Corp (TSXV: ERA | OTCQB: ECORF | FRANKFURT: ELM) presented at the 5th Annual Cleantech and Technology Metals Summit held recently in Toronto.

Founded in 2011, Elcora is a vertically integrated graphite and graphene company. The company mines, processes, refines graphite, and targets high-end graphite markets including li-ion batteries and graphene research and development. As part of the vertical integration strategy, Elcora has secured, as an Elcora mine, the premier graphene precursor graphite in the Ragedara mine in Sri Lanka and is finalizing mining or processing rights to other premium locations. Elcora has developed processes to refine graphite with much higher yield of graphene.

    Last slide shows carbon content of 55% for the graphene produced at three layers. This is important information if 55% is carbon why other rubbish is contained in the final product. We done guys this is probably the lowest quality graphite to graphene process known to man, such a product would be rubbish and completely unsuitable for use on the cathode or anode side of the battery.
    $10m’s have been thrown at Silicon graphene anodes and no one has a stable offering with good cycling efficiency.
    Is this another big promiser that discloses misinformation. It certainly looks like it. Prove me wrong and publish peer reviewed scientific papers. Basically put up or shut up.
